Battlefield 2042 Open Beta Starts Next Week, Here are the Details

Suara.com – Release delay Battlefield 2042 doesn’t let the enthusiasm of fans down in waiting game FPS this one. Electronic Arts has announced that the Open Beta phase of Battlefield 2042 is about to begin.

Through the trailer, the Open Beta will be accessible to players from October 8 to 9, 2021. Battlefield 2042 beta downloads will be activated for all players on October 5, with the early access period opening on October 6.

Fans who have pre-ordered can immediately get the initial access period. The Battlefield 2042 Open Beta will be fully open on October 8th and run through October 10th.

Quoted from PC Gamer, the Open Beta includes a Conquest mode in the Orbital map as seen in the trailer. Players who enter the Open Beta will have access to a line of specialist characters in the game including Boris, Casper, Falck, and Mackay.

Battlefield 2042 was originally slated for release on October 22. However, in mid-September, the developer, DICE, announced that game FPS it’s officially postponed until its release is November 19, 2021.

DICE General Manager Oskar Gabrielson revealed that the delay was largely due to the challenges of working from home (WFH) during the pandemic.

He also described this challenge as “unexpected” so they needed extra time to realize the vision of Battlefield 2042.

The release of Battlefield 2042 on November 19 puts them in a pretty tricky position. The release date is quite close to the launch of other FPS games.

For information, Call of Duty Vanguard will be released on November 5 and Halo Infinite will launch on December 8, 2021. The Battlefield 2042 game itself is ready to come to several platforms including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

The publisher has also revealed the exciting feature “Battlefield Portal” for Battlefield 2042. Portal is a “community-driven platform” that allows players to create their own Battlefield fantasy.

In addition to the seven maps available in Battlefield 2042, players can find other favorite maps from Battlefield 1942, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 3. Judging from the trailer that shows off great graphics, Battlefield 2042 is an interesting FPS game to look forward to this year.
