EA has previously announced that EA Play Pro members, as well as anyone who pre-orders the Gold or Ultimate edition of the game, will also have access from 12 November. However, these make the whole week play, without any time limits.
Furthermore, the developer has released a slew of new details for the Battlefield 2042 mode Portal. Here players can design their own Battlefield battles, with maps, weapons and other content from Battlefield 3, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2042.
On EA’s website you can read more about exactly how the Portal works, what kind of content is included and what rules the matches must follow. A new trailer – which you can see on the right in the article – also shows a little more of what players can expect.
We tested Battlefield 2042 earlier this fall.
