These banks include PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI).
Only PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) will hold the AGMS on March 15.
One of the AGMS held was the distribution of dividends to shareholders. Which bank has the largest dividend distribution? Here are the details:
1. State Savings Bank (BBTN)
PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN) distributed cash dividends of a total of Rp. 237.62 billion to shareholders or 10% of the company’s net profit for the 2021 financial year which reached Rp. 2.37 trillion.
The dividend amount is equivalent to Rp. 22,438 per share. This was decided in the results of the BTN Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) today, Wednesday (2/3/2022).
“The AGMS of Bank BTN decided that 10% of the net profit for the 2021 fiscal year will be used to be distributed as dividends and 90% set as retained earnings,” said Bank BTN President Director Haru Koesmahargyo after the Bank BTN AGMS in Jakarta, Wednesday (2/3). .
As is known, BTN recorded a net profit attributable to owners of the parent entity of Rp. 2.37 trillion throughout 2021. The net profit was an increase of 48.29% from the same period in 2020 of Rp. 1.60 trillion.
2. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI)
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk distributed dividends for the 2021 fiscal year of 85% of net profit or to be precise Rp 26.4 trillion which will be distributed to shareholders.
“The dividends to be distributed are at least equivalent to Rp. 174.23 per share and this is a significant increase, an increase of 76.17% compared to dividends per share in 2020 of Rp. 98.9 per share,” said BRI President Director Sunarso after holding the General Meeting of Shareholders. “For Indonesia’s dividend on share ownership by the government, 53.19% of BRI’s shares are owned by the government, so the proportional ownership is a dividend to state shareholders of Rp 14.045 trillion,” he said.
Then the 15% portion of the profit that is not distributed in the form of dividends or Rp 4.66 trillion will be used as retained earnings.
“Why is the 85% dividend payout ratio so big? 85% consider that BRI has a very strong capital structure, both liquidity is very adequate,” he said.
3. Bank Mandiri (BMRI)
PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) set around Rp 16.82 trillion as dividends to be distributed to shareholders, or as much as 60% of the 2021 consolidated net profit.
This was decided at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) which was held today, Thursday (10/3/2022). Meanwhile, as much as 40% of last year’s consolidated net profit was allocated as retained earnings.
Of this value, dividends to the Republic of Indonesia for ownership of 52% of Bank Mandiri’s shares amounted to Rp. 8.75 trillion, which will be deposited into the State General Treasury Account.
