The occasion was undoubtedly the unveiling of the statue of their mother Princess Diana on the grounds of Kensington Palace. The princess would have been 60 years old. Although they behave aloof but friendly in public, the hatchet seems far from buried. The brothers chatted freely with their guests but little to each other. The British press saw that Harry was uncomfortable with the whole thing.

According to palace officials, Harry even left quickly after the ceremony. “The prince had a glass of champagne after the unveiling, but he left after 20 minutes. He looked relieved,” said an employee at the Daily Mail.
