According to the most recent report from the White House on the pandemic, coronavirus cases from May 11 to 17 fell to 2,803 in the Orlando metropolitan area, down 19% from the previous week. Deaths dropped to 21, a 53% drop. In both cases, the totals are less than a fifth of the numbers in mid-January, during a spike in post-holiday infections.
