In the yesterday morningimmediately after the well-attended lightning meeting at the foot of the factory, the plant manager, Pietro Mancuso, called the trade unions. The representatives of Stellantiswho on Tuesday evening, together with the top management of Cooper, had been promptly warned of the drastic decision of the Battipaglia workers, want the products necessary to assemble the motor vehicles (few: the drop in orders, however physiological at the end of the summer, is the result of the decline in demand for vehicles) to be placed on the market. Finished gaskets are stored in the company warehouses: Stellantis trucks could arrive to pick them up and take them away.
