Codacons has highlighted the use of funds on some Italian municipalities, including four in Campania. The association has sent a report to the Court of Auditors and to theNational Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC), requesting the opening of an investigation aimed at verifying the use of these funds, suspecting serious irregularities in the management of the resources. In the case of Battipaglia, significant irregularities emerged in the management of the funds, a situation which pushed Codacons to request immediate intervention from the competent authorities. Several municipalities, including Ladispoli, Olbia, Lamezia Terme and some from Campania like San Giorgio a Cremano, Annunziata Tower e Marano of Napleshowever, did not provide the requested documents, raising suspicions about the transparency and correctness of their operations.
