In a plenary session, Minister Lenia Batres Guadarrama questioned Minister President Norma Lucía Piña Hernández this Thursday for the omission of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) not to act against accounts on the social network X with official logos of the high court, like @SCJN_Clips, which they use to carry out a “black campaign” against them.
Furthermore, he criticized that the Court “has not distanced itself” at the time of said campaign and even, addressing his fellow ministers, said: “and I would hope that I have no one to see here from the people present.”
During the discussion of one of the pending consultations on the reform of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (PJF), Batres pointed out that she has asked the Presidency of the Court on multiple occasions to intercede against said accounts, but no decision has been given. solution.
“There is a strategy that unfortunately has not been defined in this Supreme Court. And well, I mention it simply because you, minister, are certain, like each and every one of the ministers, that I am not going to infer a single adjective against you personally,” he said.
Piña replied that they have already taken action on the matter, but the decision rests with the American company X.
“Several times, since you submitted your request for accounts, the procedures began to be carried out, and the procedures have continued to be carried out, even recently the information was passed to you, because this goes to the company, it does not depend on us, It is the company that I have been rating, but I passed on the information and we will continue to insist,” Piña replied.
Batres Guadarrama responded that the Court has not given her information and emphasized that she has “repeatedly requested that the account (@SCJN_Clips) be directly required to stop using the Supreme Court logo and until today, months After the first request, no direct request has been sent to me, it would be very easy to do so.
At that point, he insisted that there is a permanent strategy of denigration that he would hope the ministers have no relation to.
