Batman animation voice actor Kevin Conroy has died

Sad news has hit the world of Hollywood. Animated dub of Batman, Kevin Conroydied on Saturday (12/11).

The news of Kevin Conroy’s departure was first confirmed by Diane Pershing via a personal Facebook account.

“Very sad news, our beloved Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy passed away yesterday. He’s been ill for a while, but has been spending a lot of time on the good stuff, much to the delight of all the fans,” wrote the voice of Ivy .

Warner Bros. Discovery also declared Kevin Conroy dead after battling cancer for the past few years.

“Kevin Conroy fought to the end. Goodbye, man,” wrote a statement from Warner Bros.

The figure of Kevin Conroy is known as the voice of Batman. This DC Comics superhero character was born on November 30, 1955 and began his career playing Batman in the early 1990s through the television series Batman: The Animated Series which ran successfully from 1992 to 1995.

Kevin Conroy has also been Batman in nearly 60 different productions, 15 of which were feature films. As well as 400 episodes of television and video games, namely Batman: Arkham Knight (2015) and Batman: Arkham City (2011).

Not only as a voice actor, Kevin Conroy also becomes Batman aka Bruce Wayne in the live-action version, namely in Batwoman (2019) and Crisis Aftermath (2019) in CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths.

His last work before his death was an appearance in an episode of Netflix’s 2021 Masters of the Universe: Revelation. He played Mer-Man and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe as Hordak in the beginning of 2022.
