Airlines domestic flights Batik Air was sued for Rp. 1.5 billion by their passenger, Humisar Sahala. The lawsuit was filed against Court Central Jakarta State number 528/Pdt.G/2021/PN Jkt.Pst.
In the lawsuit, Humisar asked the court to punish Batik Air for compensation in cash and at once. The amount of loss of Rp. 1.5 billion that he asked for was proposed in several forms. Namely, material and immaterial losses.
First, compensation for the costs incurred to go to Denpasar amounted to Rp1.12 million. Second, the fee for attorney services is Rp. 500 million.
Third, demanding payment for immaterial losses of Rp. 1 billion. Not paying for the loss, he also asked the court to order Batik Air to publicly apologize to him through various national newspapers and online media.
It is not clear what the reason for Humisar’s lawsuit is. Regarding the lawsuit, CNNIndonesia.com has requested a response from Lion Air Group’s Corporate Communications Strategic Danang Mandala Prihantoro.
However, until this news was revealed, Danang had not been able to provide a response on the grounds that he had to first check the information on the lawsuit.
