An airplane Batik Air Air Bus A-330 series carrying hundreds of passengers from airport International Sultan Iskandar Muda, Aceh Besar for Jakarta made an emergency landing at Kualanamu International Airport, Deli Serdang, Medan, North Sumatra on Sunday (29/8).
Quoted from Between, reporter between the Aceh Bureau, Teuku Dedi Iskandar who took part in this flight, said the emergency landing was carried out on Sunday at 11.45 pm.
The aircraft with the PK-LEL registration is suspected to have experienced technical problems in the engine.
There has been no official statement from Batik Air or the airport regarding the cause of this emergency landing. In addition, there are no known victims in this incident.
