According to the police, there will be many spectators, including children and young people without adults at the scene.
– It seems as if they do not understand the risk of staying so close to this wild animal, the police write on Twitter.
The police again ask people to be aware of the risk and to keep a good distance from the walrus.
– Feel free to go to another beach, they write on Twitter.
Freya has previously visited Tønsberg, Kragerø and Risør this summer.
Tried to pet Freya
When NRK was at Kadettangen this afternoon, there were many people in the area, but there were no security guards on site. Many must have bathed, ignoring the warnings against approaching Freya.
Some have had to swim for their lives to get away from the walrus. Small children are said to have also tried to pet Freya.
According to Bærum municipality, the guards are in the area.
– It is not a given that they stand in one place. They should walk around the entire area, says communications manager Lisa Bang.
The municipality says they will maintain the measure until Freya has left the area.
Yesterday, the police received a report about a woman who was chased by Freya while swimming at the Kadettangen. The woman claimed that the animal hissed at her.
