MADRID, 26 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The president of the Congress, the socialist Meritxell Batet, has proposed in the Congress Table a reduction of the majorities that are required to access the so-called Official Secrets Commission, lowering the bar from 210 to an absolute majority, which would already allow opening the door to ERC, Junts and Bildu to the control of the National Intelligence Center (CNI) and classified matters.
It would be a modification of the Presidency resolution signed by the socialist Manuel Marín in 2004, but despite being a change in the rules of the game, it does not have the support of opposition groups such as the PP, Vox and Ciudadanos.
