The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered a report on the investigation of the situation of the murder in Chechnya, the press service of the Investigative Committee said.
“It is reported on social media that a local resident killed a girl in one of the villages of the Kurchaloevsky district. Investigative bodies of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Chechen Republic have accused the man of committing a crime under Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and a protective measure was chosen in the form of detention,” – the message says.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the task of the head of the investigative department of the Chechen Republic to report on the progress of the investigation of the criminal case and the established circumstances.
No other details about the murder have been released. Perhaps we are talking about the confession of a resident of Chechnya in the murder of his former daughter-in-law and the burning of her body.
On September 29, a 46-year-old resident of the village of Bachi-Yurt, Kurchaloevsky district, said that he strangled his 22-year-old ex-daughter-in-law while the girl was sleeping. After making sure she was dead, the man reportedly went to the backyard of a private home and prepared a place to dispose of the body. The man told the police that he wrapped the body in a blanket and burned it, and a day later he threw the ashes into the river between the towns of Mayrtup and Bachi-Yurt. Operators were investigating this information.
