Bastia – Régis Brouard before Nantes: “I find it good to share the trip with the supporters”

the SC Bastia has the opportunity to reach the semi-finals of the French Cup. But for that, it will be necessary to achieve a feat on the lawn of Nantes this Thursday (9 p.m.) in quarter. Before this big meeting, the coach Regis Brouard spoke at a press conference. He notably mentioned the system put in place by the club, which will allow supporters to share the trip with the pro group to experience this epic together.

« Bocagnano and Sylla are injured and will be absent against Nantes. We recover Adil Taoui and the rest will be at my disposal. How do I feel about this game? Like a quarter-final, a match at stake, with two historic clubs which have ambitions, hopes through this competition because we are far and at the same time not too far from something strong. We have the same expectations. I listened to Antoine Kombouaré’s lecture. It’s important for them because it’s been a while since they’ve had a semi-final, and it’s also very important for Sporting for the same reason. The disappointment was strong on Saturday after Pau (1-1), we took a step back on Sunday and we discussed it on Monday in the locker room. At the accounting level, this is not enough. Now, we don’t dwell on the past, the main thing is to move forward. The objective is to recover well with two close matches against Nantes and Le Havre. You will have to have clear ideas, you must not overwhelm yourself with negative things. We said certain things to each other, we are planning for tomorrow’s match and we will see what happens next. (…). I think it’s good to share the trip with the supporters, really. Locking yourself in a bubble is part of the professional world, but I think it’s part of the life of this club to commune with the public. In difficulty as in joy. Being able to share part of the day with them, I find that good. I’m very happy about it. »
