Bastia joins Laval in the lead, Red Star, SC Lyon and Bourg-en-Bresse at the stop

The 5th day of National 1 took place this Friday evening with six games on the program. At the end of the 90 minutes played on the various fields, here are the results and the new classification of this N1 2020-2021 championship.

For this 5th day of National 1, some matches did not see a goal. This is the case of the meeting between SC Lyon and Créteil but also of Boulogne against Le Mans. After their great victory against Bastia during the 3rd day, the Boulonnais were unable to continue (the 4th day was postponed). On the Red Star side, it is a new defeat that was recorded by the Parisians. Defeated 2 to 0 by Villefranche, the Red Star is at a standstill in this championship. Bastia-Borgo, for its part, won nicely on the ground of Avranches thanks to a realization of Giacomini and a realization of Durbant. The leader Laval had a small setback with a draw 1 goal everywhere against Cholet, which benefited Bastia who largely won 3 goals to 1 against Bourg-en-Bresse Péronnas. Mathieu Chabert’s players therefore take the lead in the championship, tied on points with Laval but thanks to a better goal difference. For Bourg-en-Bresse, this is a rather logical result given the lack of form of the players of Mokkedem, who only played one match before tonight.
