Books – Hassan Morsi:

Journalist Bassem Youssef expressed his suffering over the success of his satirical program, “The Program,” saying: “The problem with political satire is that when you talk about politics and make people laugh, people place a lot of hopes on you, but in the end I am weak and human and have limits.

During his interview on the “Al-Mughrid” program broadcast on Abu Dhabi channels, Bassem Youssef confirmed that he is not thinking about re-presenting “The Program,” saying: “Currently, I am not thinking about re-presenting “The Program,” even if the climate is set. It is not my priority, and the difficulty is that you feel that ( “It’s easy for you.”

He continued: There is a phrase that my mother said to me and she whispered to me in his ear during a previous honor in which Adel Imam and a group of media professionals were present: “All these people who love you today may turn against you tomorrow. I am talking about media professionals.”

The satirical journalist continued: “I spent 38 years in the medical profession and suddenly I found myself famous,” noting that fame is poison. “You either give up on it and wait for the day it will withdraw from you and remain on the ground,” or you walk behind it and rise above and break the armor on your neck. Thank God when it was taken. Mona, I did not break on my neck armor.”
