Yesterday, the Middle East Sustainability Forum announced the conclusion of a partnership with the Bahrain Ship Repair and Engineering Company (BASREC) to be a partner of the forum in its second edition, which is scheduled to be organized on January 9, 2024 in Bahrain under the title “Achieving zero carbon neutrality – ways to accelerate implementation” to support regional efforts to reduce Carbon emissions. The company recently adopted a number of climate-supporting initiatives, including the digitization of its operations, which will contribute to eliminating 94% of carbon emissions resulting from paper consumption by the end of this year 2023, in addition to its large investments in using new equipment and technologies that have lower carbon emissions and reduce energy consumption. Less impact on the environment and enabling its customers to operate their assets with greater energy efficiency and cleanliness.
