With the polling stations closed from 8:00 p.m. and more than 96% counted, EH Bildu and PNV tied the Basque elections with 27 seats. These are the results of this 21A:
- The nationalist left, with Pello Otxandiano at the head of eh Bilduhas reached 27 seats in the Basque Parliament, 11 deputies short of the absolute majority necessary to govern alone, which stands at 38 seats.
- The nationalists of PNVunder the candidacy of Imanol Pradales, have also won 27 seats.
For now, the socialists of Eneko Andueza are positioned as the third force with 12 seats, and would be key to the formation of a future Basque government. He PP Javier Andrés gets 7 deputies, placing himself as the fourth force; they follow him summer y Vox, with a deputy. For now, Podemos together no has gotten representation.
2020 elections. Euskadi has once again held an election day four years after the last elections. In these, the PNV was the party that obtained the most seats (31), concentrating 39.1% of the votes. EH Bildu followed with 21 seats and obtaining 27.9% of the ballots. However, the PSE was key to the investiture of Iñigo Urkullu, with the socialists entering the government after obtaining 10 deputies.
