At 37 years old, Will Daniels (2.02 m) does not want to give up his professional career. Last season alone, the former Rhode Island resident played in four different countries: in Uruguay, Kosovo, Mexico and then Puerto Rico. After having enriched his record with a Kosovo Cup, gleaned with Trepca Mitrovica (gravelines-Dunkerque’s opponent this season in the FIBA Europe Cup), the former resident of Rhode Island (2004/08) opted for a return to the small country in the Balkans. For his 16th professional season, the man with 22 EuroLeague matches has signed up with KB Bashkimi Prizren, currently penultimate in the Kosovar championship, where he will replace Brad Waldow, already seen at Fos-Provence and Caen. Last year, he was still bleeding in the Superleague (13 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists).

Also played by Limoges (2015/16) and Levallois (2019), Will Daniels belongs above all to the Pantheon of the greatest players of Nanterre. Recruited during the Pro B era in 2010 by Pascal Donnadieu, he was one of the executives of the 2011 French Pro B champion title, before leading the JSF to a comfortable position in 2012. Off to discover the EuroCup with VEF Riga, he missed the great odyssey of 2013, towards the title of champion of France. At the same time crowned in Latvia, he made up for it the following season by returning home for the EuroLeague, winning the 2014 Coupe de France in the process, alongside the duo David Lighty – DeShaun Thomas, reformed in Villeurbanne.
