Indeed, the club announced no less than 8 departures at the end of the 2021-2022 season. Thus, Lamine Sambe joins Champagne Basket, resident of Pro B next season. In addition, Jérôme Sanchez leaves the club to sign in La Rochelle, while Xavi Forcada flies to Saint-Vallier. Regarding the other departures, the clubs where the players are going are not yet known. It is, however, sure that Abdel Sylla, Jonathan Kasibabu, Charles Thomas, Dominykas Domarkas and Tavrion Dawson will not make the squad next season.
3 recruits officially announced
However, the Nantes Basket Hermine will not have only reduced its workforce. Indeed, the leaders have announced the arrival of 3 new recruits for next season. Initially, it was the Martiniquais Thomas Hieu-Courtois who committed himself in favor of the NBH. The former Lille player signed a 2-year contract, and arrives with the experience of his 6 years spent in Pro B.
The 2nd recruit is the former Limougeaud Assane N’Doye. In search of playing time, he was part of the workforce rotation within the CSP. He has also signed a 2-year contract with NBH, and seems determined to make “beautiful things in the Nantes jersey. » Finally, the 3rd recruit is a young player, since it is Arthur Bouba, who signs his first professional contract at NBH. A resident of the JL Bourg youth teams last season, he also signed up for 2 seasons.
In addition, the club took advantage of this summer period to complete the extension of Jean-François Kebe’s contract (2023) and the signing of a first professional contract for Sahel Mouhri. So there is movement on the side of Nantes. This team will have to be watched in the next Pro B season…
