BASKETBALL: The JDA Dijon receives Strasbourg by wishing to celebrate Christmas before the hour

A third consecutive victory in the league is at stake for the last match of the year this Thursday, December 23 at the Palais des Sports. During this evening, in partnership with the Secours populaire français, solidarity must also operate.

The JDA Dijon is not idle at the end of the year. Engaged on all fronts, the group of Nenad Markovic receives this Thursday 23 December 2021 at 8:30 p.m. the SIG Strasbourg on behalf of the 13th day of Betcic Elite, just 48 hours after a long trip to Russia to face Nijni Novgorod for the Basketball Champions League (defeat 93-85, the qualification of the JDA in play-in was assured before the match).

After the spectacular victory last weekend in Bourg-en-Bresse (81-88), the Dijonnais intend to continue their series of two consecutive wins in the league.

On the occasion of this gala match, several events are planned so that JDA supporters can rediscover the magic of Christmas inside the Palace. This poster between Dijon and Strasbourg should be one of the best home crowds of the 2021-22 season.

This meeting will also have a solidarity dimension since two operations are organized with students and hospitalized children:

– As part of the Christmas Days and the partnership between the National Basketball League and the Secours Populaire Français, the JDA Dijon is mobilized by offering 50 places to Dijon students in difficulty. The Secours Populaire de Côte-d’Or will also provide cinema tickets to each invited student during a friendly moment in one of the halls of the Palais des sports.
The actions of Secours Populaire 21 will also be highlighted in the digital magazine of the JDA. On the pitch, players from both teams will enter the pitch with a green cap and toys.

– JDA Dijon has also joined forces with the Happy Dream Child association, which brings a little joy to hospitalized children all year round. On Thursday evening, spectators will be able to drop off a new toy near Santa Claus and benefit from a 10% discount at the club shop. All the toys collected will be handed over to health establishments in Dijon.
