Thanks to a new festival from Stephen Curry (40 points), author of ten three-point baskets, Golden State has a second victory on Friday ahead of Orlando. After four losses, Indiana returned to success in Detroit. Philadelphia was beaten again by Portland.

THE MVP OF THE NIGHT
Stephen Curry is on another planet now. Thursday night in Orlando, Golden State lined up a second victory (111-105) after its success Tuesday in San Antonio. A success marked by the umpteenth show of his superstar, once again in another dimension. Author of 40 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists, the All Star point guard of the Warriors continued his incredible streak, with a fifth game at 30 points or more. The double NBA champion has especially still offered a festival behind the line. The number 30 took 19 three-pointers on Thursday, and he netted ten, and even eleven before what would have been his eleventh award-winning basket of the game was taken away after video verification. The most impressive is that stats like this are almost a habit for the angel-faced assassin, as he’s now 17 career games with at least ten three-runner baskets scored and that last week already, against Dallas, he had hit the ball eleven times at long distance. Deprived of Evan Fournier, shot in the back, Orlando could not hope for anything in the face of such a sharp Curry. Even Nikola Vucevic’s new double-double (25 points, 13 rebounds) did nothing.
THE NIGHT FLOP
Always in charge in the East, Philadelphia has lost two games in just its last eight outings. Both times against Portland. Thursday, the Pistons have thus remade the blow of last February 5 (victory 121-105 to Phily) by making fall again, this time on their floor (118-114), these Sixers who have lost only eight times this season for the time being. Joel Embiid (35 points, 9 rebounds) and his family had yet restarted a (good) series after this first stop against Portland, but at the end of these four wins in a row, the reunion with Damian Lillard (30 points, 7 assists) and his gang were again fatal to the leader of the Eastern Conference, knocked out late in the game by an intractable Carmelo Anthony out of the bench (24 points to 4 of 5 to three points) and author of a completely crazy fourth quarter (17 points). Fortunately for Philadelphia, he doesn’t face Detroit every day.
THE MATCH OF THE NIGHT
The Pacers raised their heads. After four defeats (Milwaukee, New Orleans, Utah, Brooklyn), Indiana returned to victory on Thursday on the floor of Detroit (111-95). Domantas Sabonis, the main architect of this reaction from his team, hurt the Pistons of Frenchman Sekou Doumbouya (6 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist in 16 minutes). The Lithuanian pivot made one of his best copies of the season, with 26 points (9 of 14 on shots and 2 of 4 on three points), 8 rebounds and 8 assists.
