The German national player from New York Liberty is on the All-Rookie team, making her one of the five best newcomers in the US women’s professional league.
66 of 67: Clark cleans up again
Exceptional Caitlin Clark (Indiana Fever) was named Rookie of the Year; the 22-year-old received 66 out of 67 possible votes, with Angel Reese (Chicago Sky) only receiving one. In addition to Clark, Reese and Fiebich, Kamilla Cardoso (Chicago) and Rickea Jackson (Los Angeles Sparks) made it into the top five.
Fiebich played all 40 games in the main round, was in the starting lineup 15 times and averaged 6.7 points and 3.0 rebounds. Alongside her national team colleague Nyara Sabally, the 24-year-old from Landsberg am Lech made it to the playoff semi-finals. In the best-of-five series against defending champion Las Vegas Aces, runner-up New York leads 2-0. Only one win is needed to advance.
