Landerneau Bretagne Basket will launch its season on Wednesday on the Nantes Rezé floor, without its Canadian Bridget Carleton.
Eliminated from WNBA last week with Minnesota Lynx in the semi-finals, Bridget Carleton has not yet arrived at Landerneau Bretagne Basket. After the United States, Carleton returned to her native country, Canada, where she had to observe a fortnight before being able to rally France and Landerneau Bretagne Basket. The arrival of this post 3 of 23 years, big blow of the Landernean transfer window this summer, is estimated around October 20, while the LBB will receive Bourges on Wednesday 22.
In the meantime, Stéphane Leite and his players, after the postponement of the first two days against Saint-Amand and Bourges, will launch their season this Wednesday on the floor of Nantes Rezé. Barring a last-minute turnaround, Landerneau Bretagne Basket will finally play in competition after several months of forced break.
