Basketball: Lakers get second division basketball player | sport

The Lakers immediately provided the statistics from the 2nd Bundesliga in the press release: Murphy played in 23 games for the Saxons and started in 22 of them. He averaged 13.8 points per game and sank 43.3 percent of his three-point attempts.

He also got an average of 7.1 rebounds and gave 4.5 assists.

Murphy moved to Dresden from league competitor Phoenix Hagen. Hagen was his first station abroad after his time at Belmont College in Tennessee (2017 to 2022).

He played for the Lakers in the 2024 Summer League.
