Basketball Great honor: Ulm loses test match against NBA team in the USA

Never before had a German basketball team traveled to the USA to compete against a team from the NBA. ratiopharm Ulm sells well at the game in Portland.
Basketball Bundesliga team ratiopharm Ulm was the first German team to play a test match in the USA against a team from the NBA graduate. The 2023 champions lost to the Portland Trail Blazers 100:111. Never before had a Bundesliga team been invited to North America by an NBA team. The Ulm team, who recently stumbled in the Cup and Eurocup, took on great travel strains in order to be able to compete in the US state of Oregon shortly before the start of the NBA season.
Despite being 20 points behind at one point, the Bundesliga table leaders sold well and came within 4 points of the NBA team in the final quarter. Noa Essengue had the best result for the Ulm team with 20 points, while Scoot Henderson was the most dangerous for the Trail Blazers with 23 points.
The Trail Blazers have another test against the Utah Jazz before they face the Golden State Warriors on October 23rd for their first points of the season. Ulm continues in the Bundesliga against Oldenburg on Saturday.
