Rugby: the end of the season made official among amateurs
“The health crisis continues to seriously affect the country and has resulted in the suspension of indoor sports activities for adults and minors for many months. It forces the FFBB to take the decision to definitively stop all of its metropolitan championships (departmental, regional and national) for the current season ”, said the statement, released in the evening, after a meeting of the federal office.
No climbs or descents
The championships which benefit from a derogation, including the women’s L2 with the C’Chartres BF and the N1M with the C’Chartres BM, are not concerned and will continue. But all the other formations of Eure-et-Loir, including the N3M of Barjouville (Tom Gricourt), are now fixed.

“The prospect of playing 50% of the matches, even in the territories that were able to start their championships in September, can no longer be considered. In these divisions, the 2020/21 season will not give rise to any ascent or descent, ”the statement continued.
12 million euros for clubs
The FFBB therefore decrees a white season. It will leave the leagues, with the support of the committees, to offer alternative competitions, in particular in 3X3, when the return to the game is possible.
In addition, the body announced the release of € 12 million to help all its clubs, directly affected by the crisis.
