Each year, the French Basketball Federation (FFBB) organizes a challenge throughout the territory for the youngest (M and F), that is to say children in the U12 and U13 categories. These are tests of skill and dexterity through four events, with prestigious names in the middle of the big orange ball: Marine Johannes, Nicolas Batum, Sandrine Gruda and Evan Fournier.

After departmental, regional and national finals, the two winners (M and F), will be offered a trip to the United States at the end of the year, and will attend an NBA match.

Departmental finals in Orthez

In the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, the clubs had to make a first selection with the two best scores (M and F), which will compete in the departmental finals this Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the Pierre Seillant room in Orthez.

If 119 girls and 131 boys took part in the preselections, there will be 22 girls and 26 boys who will begin to dream of being in the four of each category, who will continue their journey towards the regional final which will take place on March 27 in a location to be determined.
