The Hakro Merlins Crailsheim surprisingly lost against relegated Frankfurt with 70:81. Bamberg (16:16) closed with a 94:81 at promoted MLP Academics Heidelberg to Crailsheim and BG Göttingen, who also have 16 successes and 16 defeats to their credit.
Paulding leads Oldenburg to victory when saying goodbye
Meanwhile, club legend Rickey Paulding led EWE Baskets Oldenburg to a clear victory in his last home game. The 39-year-old scored 18 points against s.Oliver Würzburg in a clear 113:87 (63:38) win and was celebrated for several minutes when he was substituted shortly before the end by the 6,000 spectators with standing ovations. “It was very emotional.
