This Lorraine derby was worth its weight in uncertainties. From the start of the meeting, Jarnysiens and Thionvillois answer each other tit for tat with in particular Baldin on one side and Cougouille on the other. The Mosellans will however succeed in taking an advantage of five points at the break but we feel that nothing is played out especially as the premises, contrary to an unfortunate habit, remain in the game.

Back from the locker room, Jérémy Louis very skilful and Albertini, allow Jarny to pass a small point before the final quarter, hope is allowed. Unfortunately, this devil of Cougouille and also Guenfissi are still threading the baskets and J. Louis will be the only Meurthe-et-Mosellan to still have the leg in this money-time. Insufficient however to contest the final victory to the neighbor. A defeat in the form of satisfaction consoles coach Baldin.
