Basilic & Co achieved 7 new openings in the first half of 2023, with 9 additional openings forecast this year. The brand is aiming for 100 restaurants by the end of 2024.

Basilic & Co generates good results

In the first half of 2023, Basilic & Co completed 7 new openings in Bordeaux, Lyon, Meaux, Chantepie, Montpellier, Périgueux and Chatenay-Malabry. The brand, which generated revenue growth of more than 3.4% on a like-for-like basis in June 2023, plans another 9 openings over the rest of the year, including 3 during the summer in Blois, Nîmes, Brignais, and 6 before the end of the year in Lyon, Sartrouville, Nantes, Marseille, Oullins or even Pertuis.

These last restaurants will be piloted by new franchisees, thus demonstrating the level of attractiveness of the concept. With 66 French restaurants to its credit (61 franchised restaurants and 5 branches) and more than 500 employees in July 2023, Basilic & Co continues to develop at a sustained pace.

16 openings will take place this year, the brand will reach the milestone of 100 restaurants at the end of 2024 then 200 restaurants within 5 years. To support this objective, it continues to position itself in the premium pizza segment, with the ambition to promote local products and their producers, and to invest in supporting its franchisees for effective management and management. .
