Primary Medicine, the list of clinics vacant for years published
In the Oristano area there are 23 but there are only vacant places from 2018 and 2019, for now

After more than two years of waiting and three wrong resolutions, the ATS has finally published the fourth and, hopefully, definitive resolution with which the list of general medicine clinics that became vacant in the years 2018 and 2019 is announced. An indispensable requirement, before acquiring the availability of general practitioners and proceeding with the appointment of the owners of the various offices.

The first resolution was adopted in May last year, but two others followed, one in October and another in January, which corrected or supplemented the previous ones. In the last resolution, in particular, it seems that the indication relating to the deficient clinics of the ASL of Carbonia did not correspond to that approved by the appropriate ASL committees, hence the need for a further provision that cancels and replaces the previous ones.

According to the lists published by the ATS, 23 clinics have been discovered in the province of Oristano, of which 5 in the Terralbese area. Of the 23 offices to be put up for competition, 22 have not had the owner since 2018. But the list does not take into account the doctors who retired last year and this year, nor those, numerous, who will leave in the coming months, depriving thus primary health care further areas.

Antonio Pili

The more than 2,600 patients in the municipalities of Allai, Samugheo and Simaxis who have lost or will soon lose their family doctor will have to wait for the retirement of two professionals. For their replacement, a new provision will be necessary, for which the mayor of Allai Antonio Pili has already asked that an urgent procedure be adopted: “We explained both the councilor for Health and the commissioner of the Assl of Oristano that our citizens cannot in any way be deprived of the assistance of a general practitioner. For this reason, we expect all the necessary measures to be adopted in a very short time to ensure the appointment of the owners of the clinics who have remained uncovered. “
