Bashkir Deputy Prime Minister accused Western countries of failing to meet deadlines for school completion in Ufa

A school for 1,650 students has been built in a residential area on the eastern outskirts of the city since 2019. She was supposed to accept the first students in 2021. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the opening was postponed to August 2022.

Now the opening has been rescheduled for the winter, Badranov said. He explained the failure of the deadlines by the imposition of sanctions against Russia. “The sanctions pressure of the “democratic” West has pushed back the construction and commissioning of the school. Many materials and equipment have risen in price by 10-20 times,” the official said.
