Today at 3:52 a.m., the Haselbach volunteer fire brigade was alerted to a cellar fire. Attentive neighbors became aware of the smell of burning and alerted the fire brigade. Upon arrival, the emergency services found the cellar door in the unoccupied house locked. After opening the door, the respiratory protection teams were able to get to the source of the fire and carry out the fire fighting.
64 emergency services had to move out
At the same time as the door was opened, fire fighting was started from the outside, the extinguishing water supply was secured and the pressure ventilator was put into position. The last comrades returned to the fire station at 6:15 a.m. The FF Haselbach, Volunteer Fire Brigade Eggersdorf near Graz, Volunteer Fire Brigade Kainbach near Graz, Red Cross Styria and the Styrian Police with a total of 12 vehicles and 64 emergency services were deployed.
