The couple was married by Jim van der Deijl, a good friend of the couple and presenter of Broadcasting West.
Bad luck
Muijs has had a few tough years. In 2021, he suffered a heart attack. In March 2023, the actor was taken hostage and assaulted. In early 2024, Muijs was involved in a major car accident. “It was all the more beautiful that we were able to end everything with something beautiful, something festive. Something we had been looking forward to for years,” says Muijs.
