Today, the scientific institution is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Institute of Literature at the BAS.
On this occasion, the “Institute of Literature – 21st Century” exhibition will be arranged in the lobby of the Central Technical University – BAS. The festive day for BAS will include a conference dedicated to the anniversary. The reports will include topics such as: The four-volume Cyril-Methodian encyclopedia, which is the only publication in the world containing concepts, authors and manuscripts; the completed digitization of Old Bulgarian manuscripts with scientific commentary. A report will present a new reading of Bulgarian literature and, in particular, Bulgarian modernism. According to the organizers, this contributes to the modern enrichment of knowledge about the Bulgarian spiritual heritage. The results of surveys conducted with Bulgarian writers about the creative process of creating their works will also be presented.
