Bas and Aad van Toor open Bassie & Adriaan exhibition

It was the first time in a long time that Bas performed in public again. The 85-year-old actor has been struggling with his health for years and had to go under the knife several times this year. Bas and Aad could not see each other for a long time this year because of the corona crisis. Aad lives in Spain and was therefore unable to leave the country.

The exhibition A treasure of memories, which was supposed to open this summer, fulfills a long-awaited wish of the still popular duo. The exhibition about the lives of the brothers Bas and Aad van Toor is divided into three themes: their early years as acrobat duo The Crocksons, their more than two decades with the Circus Bassie & Adriaan and their successful television career. There are many props from the series on display such as the Greek Stone, the treasury and the crown.

Fans are welcome in Museum Vlaardingen from Tuesday. Due to the corona measures, the museum can receive fewer people than initially expected. Only one route can be followed in the building and visitors must keep a distance of five feet and wear a face mask.
