Barù has revealed that he would be a perfect castaway on the Island of the Famous because of his passion for nature and his skill in fishing:
It would have been much better to do L’Isola than Big Brother. Unfortunately I agreed to do it and I did that, by now I have given. I have always grown up in extreme places of nature, I have always gone fishing and we have always gotten ourselves food. If you throw me in a forest or on a beach I survive. But let’s hope that I earn well and that I don’t have to do more reality shows. Obviously it is an economic question, if Mediaset has the right budget… I would only participate with Giucasbut he has already made The Island.
