Bartosz Zmarzlik wins the Czech GP! The Pole is the new leader of the cycle!

Bartosz Zmarzlik has finally disenchanted Praga! After unsuccessful performances in the Czech capital in the past, this time he looked great from the very beginning. After the phenomenal start of the competition, however, he lost some pace in the second part of the main phase. However, he was able to advance to the semi-finals as the only Pole.

What will happen to the speedway season in the face of the coronavirus pandemic?

Amazing things happened in the semi-finals. The referee gave a warning to Leon Madsen for his movements under the tape, which meant that he was excluded from the semi-finals. Moments later, Doyle was also excluded, which meant that Zmarzlik and Woffinden who were driving with him advanced to the final without a fight. The Pole won their duel, thanks to which he could choose the starting field in the decisive race.

In the final, the Pole did not leave his rivals any illusions. From the beginning of the decisive race, he was in the lead and did not let Woffinden pass, with whom they passed each other several times in the semi-finals on the race distance. Zmarzlik thus won the Czech GP and advanced to the position of the leader of the general classification.
