PRESIDENT BARCELONA, Josep Maria Bartomeu will immediately resign from his post with conditions for Lionel Messi to make a statement in public.
Journalist who operates in Catalan, Alfredo Martinez claims Bartomeu will be willing to resign, if Messi states that he chooses to stay in Barcelona in openly.
Martinez’s report also stated that Bartomeu had contacted Messi via telephone to discuss the future of the 33-year-old player. Even the president asked to meet with Messi, but was rejected by La Pulga (the Flea), Messi’s nickname.
