Bartender saves wives from creepy man by presenting fake bill | Abroad

Bartender Max Gutierrez’s move went viral last week after the grateful woman shared on Twitter how he had helped her and her friend get out of the creep’s unwanted advances, the New York Post reports.

After the difficult customer approached the women in a pushy manner several times, the bartender handed Trinity Allie a note that looked like he was handing her the bill. “If this man is bothering you, put your ponytail on your other shoulder. Then I’ll put him out. That guy gives me the creeps,” the note read.

Text continues below the tweet.

“This man was harassing me and my girlfriend and the bartender gave me this note and pretended it was the bill! Truly the type of bartender everyone needs,” a happy Allie wrote on Twitter.

In a follow-up to the story, the woman posted on Twitter that Gutierrez shouted: “You have to fuck off with these girls who clearly have no interest”, after which he threw the man out of the bar.

She also clarifies that she had the brave bartender Gutierrez pose for the photo after the incident and not while she was being harassed. The tweet has been liked more than 200,000 times. “Not all heroes wear capes. Some are wearing Hawaiian shirts,” a woman commented below the message.

Gutierrez himself reported that the troublesome customer later returned to the bar for a beer, but had refused to serve him.
