Bart van Rooij (Escharen, 26 May 2001), started his youth at SV Estria Escharen and made the switch to the youth academy of NEC Nijmegen at the age of 9. Van Rooij went through all the youth teams and made his debut in the first team of NEC in the 2018-2019 season. In recent seasons he played 170 official matches, scoring seven times.
