Bart Beyaert (29), the arable farmer from Wortegem-Petegem who participated in the most recent season of Farmer seeks wife, married his girlfriend Céline Dewitte (29) on 10 July. The two met only a year ago.

Initially, the couple would say yes to each other in the summer of 2022, but for financial reasons, the two are still getting married this week. In recent months, Céline appears to have invested heavily in her partner’s arable farm, which until now has been wholly owned. A marriage gives Céline more legal certainty, should something ever happen to Bart.
This week, the couple will only get married legally. The church ceremony and the wedding party are only planned for the autumn of 2022, in the hope that by then it will be possible to party again without corona measures.
