MSC World America will be inaugurated in April 2025 and will spend its inaugural season in the Caribbean, departing from Port Miami. Each itinerary will include a stop at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the company’s private island in the Bahamas.

The boat will offer its guests new concepts including a sports bar and a Comedy Club, enhanced bars and lounges and the revisited ‘Sweet Temptations’ concept. The culinary experiences offered on board this new ship will reach new heights, says the Geneva-based company.

MSC World America represents a major evolution of the company’s World Class prototype and will usher in a new world of cruising with redesigned spaces and concepts, specifically tailored to the American market. This new flagship will also be the first to offer seven distinct zones on board, allowing guests of all ages to choose the vacation that suits them and fully enjoy their stay on board.

Bars et Lounges

All-Stars Sports Bar: located in the Promenade space, All-Stars Sports Bar will recreate the atmosphere of a game day, every day. Guests can share a drink while watching a game and enjoy typical sports bar fare as well as traditional American specialties. This lively space will also be equipped with typical sports bar games, such as electronic darts, digital shuffleboard and table football, creating a friendly atmosphere. All-Stars Sports Bar has a large terrace with stunning sea views.

The Loft: guests will be able to laugh, sing and dance in this new multi-purpose space, reserved for adults. This place will offer lively comedies, piano duels and karaoke evenings, in an intimate and elegant atmosphere. Nestled between the bars and restaurants of the area called Terraces, The Loft is the ideal meeting place to extend the party until the early hours, with entertainment continuing well after midnight.

Elixir – Mixology Bar: to enjoy refined and tasty cocktails. Elixir mixologists will prepare handcrafted drinks using Fever Tree mixers and fresh ingredients. Introduced aboard MSC World Europa, Elixir enters the US market with a new focus on bourbon and bourbon-based cocktails, in addition to a large selection of other spirits.

Masters of the Seas: this iconic British-style pub will also be located on the Terraces level and will offer a warm and lively atmosphere, ideal for enjoying live music and drinks from the menu. The pub features MSC Cruises’ second microbrewery, which will produce a brand new range of signature beers crafted by brewmaster Teo Musso of Brasserie Baladin. An American-style light beer, an IPA and a Pilsner, will be made from desalinated seawater and American hops.

Additionally, guests looking for the authentic flavors of Miami can enjoy beers from South Florida’s famous La Tropicale brewery.

The Gin Project: a true paradise for gin lovers, this bar, also located at the Terraces level, will offer 20 artisanal gins, with a particular emphasis on American and Canadian artisanal gin distilleries, complemented by a careful selection of international references and a menu of traditional botanical cocktails prepared by ‘gin-tenders’.

Coffee Emporium: a modern and stylish café, offering some of the best whole bean coffees in the world as well as a wide choice of coffee preparation methods and recipes, including French, Italian, Turkish and the Moroccan.

Sweet Temptations: after MSC World Europa, Sweet Temptations arrives on board MSC World America with a brand new look and an even more impressive selection of gourmet sweets. Located in the heart of the Promenade, Sweet Temptations invites you to return to your childhood with its bright colors and fun activities.

Jean Philippe Chocolate & Coffee: This chocolate lover’s paradise is a must-see aboard many MSC Cruises ships, and for good reason. Guests can enjoy a relaxed ambiance, taste exquisite confectionery and create their own chocolate bars based on the creations of famous French chocolatier and pastry chef Jean-Philippe Maury. (OF)
