Barrandov TV warns viewers who watch it via satellite of the need to retune. It is changing satellite distribution providers and therefore on 31 December the transmission ends with the current parameters. It has been using the services of the M7 Group, the operator of the Skylink platform, since December 22.
For Skylink customers, the change is no complication. Their certified receiver updates the transmission parameters automatically, thanks to the automatic tuning and organizing function (FastScan).
The most significant change will be the reduction of the resolution at the thematic stations Kino Barrandov and Barrandov Krimi, which will continue to be only in SD. Only TV Barrandov will broadcast in high definition from the satellite.
Those who do not use FastScan can tune the programs manually using the parameters below.
