The European Union’s main Brexit negotiator, Michel Barnier, has told members of the European Parliament that negotiations on a post-Brexit deal could continue until Wednesday, but no more, RTE Europe editor Tonny Connelly said Monday.
“According to the sources present, Michel Barnier also warned the UK that member states would not approve a deal if they went ahead with the approval of the Internal Market and Finance bills,” Connelly tweeted. “If there is no agreement, the European Commission will be ready to react immediately with contingency plans.”
