Bargain season at Secours populaire

The Secours populaire fall sale started on Friday, November 15, in the Jean-Favre room, offering the chance to find great deals. But for the first time the fair is being held over two days and will be open again all day on Saturday.

About thirty volunteers were mobilized, thousands of items arranged in two rooms, the Secours populaire fall sale took over Jean-Favre for its traditional fall sale.

After receiving a bag at the entrance, visitors could take their time to walk between the tables and racks in search of good deals. And there is plenty to do since then apart from clothes and bed linen, from the society’s cloakroom, it was possible to leave with trinkets, dishes, books, CDs, DVDs or even toys. A great opportunity to find a gift on the eve of the end of year holidays or update your wardrobe for the winter. So, Dalel, mother of four children between 12 and 3, did not hesitate to come to Jean-Favre’s room on Friday.

“This is the first time I have come to the Secours populaire fair as our family has just moved to Langres. I was mostly looking for warm clothes, shoes too and I think I found some nice winter clothes for my kids. »

Claudine has been coming to this event for years and always enjoys this event. “Every time I find something that makes me happy, but you have to be patient and look carefully,” laughs regularly at the fair.

This year, Secours populaire also offered cleaning or hygiene products as well as hairdressing and telephone accessories, which is off to a good start. At the end of the day there were many more than the bar of 100 people going through the cash register.

For those who could not come on Friday, the sale will be open again on Saturday November 16, from 9am to 5:50pm without any breaks. “We had a great first day and we hope to have as many people as possible,” said Christine Lefèvre, assistant of the Langres de Secours populaire branch.
