Bareskrim Reveals Indra Kenz Pretends to Buy Rolls-Royce for Content

Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) Police suspect the suspect in the alleged fraudulent investment application BinomialIndra Kesuma alias Indra Kenz pretend to buy luxury cars to create content.

The Head of the Public Information Section (Kabagpenum) of the National Police Kombes Gatot Repli Handoko explained that Indra Kenz was only proven to have bought a Tesla in the Prestige Image Motocars Showroom owned by Rudy Salim.

“Regarding other vehicles, after the inspection, investigators said that the Rolls-Royce and Toyota vehicles included in the content were only for content creation,” Gatot told reporters at the National Police Headquarters, Friday (17/3).

In addition, Gatot explained that police investigators had examined Rudy Salim on Friday (18/3) regarding the case.

During the investigation, it was said that Rudy admitted that he had received Rp 1.3 billion from selling cars with Indra Kenz.

“The examination of this hospital is related to the purchase of a luxury car from brother IK, which was purchased at a price of Rp. 1,350 billion,” he explained.

Separately, the Head of Sub-Directorate II of the Dittipideksus Bareskrim Polri Kombes Chandra Sukma Kumara explained that investigators would not confiscate the money Rudy Salim received from the sale and purchase of the car.

He explained that the money was not confiscated because it was a Tesla car purchase transaction from Indra Kenz, which has now been confiscated by the police.

“It’s true buying and selling Tesla cars. We have confiscated the Tesla car,” he said.

During the asset tracking process, the police stated that they would confiscate a total of IDR 57.2 billion of Indra’s assets. So far, the total assets confiscated is only IDR 43.5 billion.

Some of these assets include two units of luxury cars from the Ferrari and Tesla brands. Then, two plots of land in Deliserdang, North Sumatra. Lastly, one housing unit in Medan.
