Bareskrim Polri Named 8 Suspects in the AGO Building Fire Case

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The Directorate of General Crimes at Bareskrim Poliri has named eight suspects in the fire case at the Attorney General’s Office building (AGO) on August 22nd.

Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General of Police, Argo Yuwono, explained that this determination was obtained from a series of investigations conducted by the team. Bareskrim Polri and the Attorney General’s Office.

“We named eight suspects in the Attorney General’s Office fire case because of their negligence,” Argo said at a press conference at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit building, Friday (23/10/2020).

Argo added that for their actions, the eight suspects were suspected of violating Article 188 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Articles 55 and 56 of the Criminal Code.

“The threat is five years in prison,” said Argo.
